Epson announces new digital textile printer with built-in water recycling

The Monna Lisa ML-18000 technology allows for a 90% reduction in water usage

Epson, exhibitor and GOLD sponsor at the next edition of C!Print Madrid, from January 13 to 15, 2026, announces the Monna Lisa ML-18000 , its latest innovation in digital textile printing, combines high-speed productivity with significant water conservation. The ML-18000 reduces water usage by 90% by incorporating an advanced water recycling unit , designed to filter and recycle the water used during the belt cleaning process.

The recycling unit's compact design integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, ensuring operations remain efficient and environmentally friendly. It also includes a sensor for continuous monitoring of water contamination levels to ensure compliance with local wastewater regulations and maximize recycling efficiency.

Equipped with 18 state-of-the-art Epson PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads , the ML-18000 delivers exceptional print speeds of up to 450 square meters per hour , ensuring designs are produced quickly, without compromising on quality.
Innovative dual black ink technology delivers rich black tones, enhancing the depth and vibrancy of prints, making it ideal for demanding applications in fashion, interior design, and more. Epson's patented Precision Dot technologies minimize banding and graininess, while symmetrical color alignment ensures consistent color reproduction during high-speed bidirectional printing.

With advanced features such as a high-capacity ink system and automated cleaning mechanisms, the ML-18000 ensures stable performance, minimizing downtime and facilitating optimal equipment utilization.

Epson's GENESTA reactive ink is ECO PASSPORT certified and ECOCERT approved, thus complying with strict international regulations for environmentally responsible textile printing. This commitment to sustainability extends to the entire production process, ensuring not only beautiful prints but also responsible production.

Epson has a global sales and support network, with dedicated demonstration centers and service centers to assist its customers with any printing needs. Epson Cloud Solution PORT enables real-time monitoring of printer and job status, allowing businesses to maximize productivity and optimize their operations.
